On the west coast, in one of the most beautiful regions of Corfu, lies the enchanting mountain village of Pentati, about 300 meters above sea level, 17 kilometers from the capital and the airport.

From the more touristy Agios Gordios, further down, peaceful, nature-loving walkers come daily up to the picturesque mountain village, or hike even higher to the "Roof of the World" to enjoy beautiful views of the blue sea and the lush green island with its ancient olive groves, or even spectacular sunsets.

From Villa Olivia, built in 2018, it's just a few steps to the village, where you can enjoy delicious food and even peek inside the kitchens. Agios Gordios has small supermarkets for the essentials. However, bulk shopping for accommodation is best done in the capital, Corfu.

A vehicle is a must on Corfu; it's best to book one at the same time as your flight. Or take the ferry and bring your car with you – it takes a day from Venice, for example.

The nearby beaches are just a few minutes away by car. If you're comfortable walking, you can reach Agios Gordios Beach, for example, via a steep but beautiful hiking trail/path in about 20 minutes.
